This is one of those projects that makes you sit up and take notice, sometimes with a project car things don’t go your way. It’s how you overcome these which really makes a project for me, when some-one’s so driven by passion they’ll keep going to get things right.
Babalouie clearly has a love for the Hako, especially in importing it to Australia seemingly one of the most unfriendly places in the world for car modification.

Well it turned out just as the leaked photos predicted. Needless to say it’ll be interesting to see it HKS and Mitsubishi have managed to counter the appauling off boost lag of the outgoing FQ400. This still looks to be a UK only model, kinda looks like the guy standing in the corner of a Camden pub, look twice and he’ll chin you.
It’s just a bit dirty, yeah i’m an Evo guy

The front gets an agressive Test and service style front bumper with a carbon frontlip coupled with new HID lamp units.

Mitsubishi UK are continuing with their longstanding relationship with HKS for the FQ. The 2 litlre now making 403bhp, thankfully the natty plastic pipes now replaced with HKS hardpipes.
It’s been a pretty exciting race this year, as everyone predicted, Manthay racing are running away with the race in their 911. ABT are still doing the chasing in their R8 but its unlikely they’ll overhaul Manthay.

RJN are still plugging away in their new 370z

Now running with four wheels after a trackside repair

Love the aero on these two s2000′s

The Gazoo racing Lexus LF-A seems to be struggling, running out of the top 30 after a driveshaft failure.

The Gazoo racing Lexus IS-F seems to be running strong, currently in 87th

STI continue to turn in some impressive reliabilit, currently running 5th in class and 37th overall after 21 hours.
This weekend is one of those weekend’s I wish I was somewhere else. The Adac Nurburgring 24 Hours kicks off on Saturday, a punishing and gruelling endurance race round the Green Hell. Pounding round the carousel for 24 hours is surely as close to automotive Nirvana as you’ll get.
I’ll have to be content with looking at the photos and watching the live feed.

Lexus are once again campaigning the experimental Lexus LF-A. Build that shit already! love the Gazoo racing scheme though.

I do love the new Type R in endurance trim.

And older brother isn’t far behind.

The blog sucks a little lately but i’m gettng my mojo back, probably.
Well i’m going to keep you guys waiting and let 7Tune have the exclusive on Japfest before I blog it here. Needless to say the show was a little disapointing

I love bugeye’s, I love steelwheels and secretly I love Thule roofracks; Dont judge me

So its Japfest on Saturday at Castle Combe, i’ll be going down with the Suzuki Swift owners club so look out for me rocking the JDM Ego front plate. With 12 hours or so till I leave we’ve figured how poor the stand location is, and the club gazebo is broken, bad times.
And the Corolla above was my car of the year last year.
Spied this JZX100 mark ii tourer V on the JDM StyleTuning forum , i’m in love

I’m digging the small cars today, so here’s the YR Advance Mitsubishi Colt Ralliart R.

I seem to flip back between styles, sometimes its easy to get caught up in the wild, lary side of Japanese tuning. But sometimes its the simple and the subtle that have the most impact.
HKS Kansai Service a HKS master shop in Nara Prefecture on Honshu chose the Swift Sport to demonstrate their tuning ability.

Exterior modifications take the form of liberal use of carbon fibre, with a carbon bonnet, Suzukisport grille set, carbon mirror covers and the carbon front short lip.

The Swift sports a secondary carbon wing on the bootlid.

Retaining the standard discs and rotors but paired with a set-of Advan RGII alloy wheels

I love the front carbon shortlips but they aren’t cheap.
