I’m not easily impressed these days and i’ve kinda fallen out of the scene, whether it be the unique breed of quasi internet celebrities, bent on making themselves a name for a fleeting five minutes. Or simply the lack of any real quality in the builds I see, sure you see great builds, guys and girls pushing forward the scene in their own unique way, but more often than not its all been done before.
You can usually spy a modified Honda and tick the usual boxes, shocker sticker, rota’s and any number of “JDM” stickers. Although i’m still rocking my JDMEgo stickers and plateframe. And don’t get me started on Rota’s i’d rather roll on my standards.
Similarly whenever I see a Silvia its drift styled, Impreza’s are rally styled and well it goes on

Turn’s out there’s a thriving Honda scene in the Manchester area, this looked pretty nice, i’m still yet to get the rear wiper removal. Especially when its rained at every single event i’ve been to this year.
Check out the guy in the back selling Coke out of a plastic drum

This EP3 looked pretty cool in a no-nonsense kinda way, risky business, road legal and Time Attack on the weekends.

I kinda wished i’d gone down the Honda route, look beyond the shocker crowd and you’ll dig out a heap of guys pushing things forward. I can see early glimpses of the crowd moving towards what our cousins are doing stateside.
I don’t profess to know anything about Honda’s but I love the Fourth Gen.

I love the Evo Estate, the new sportback fell a little short of the full blown Impreza slayer with a boot. But the old Evo estate still offers performance and practicality, although with a fixed rear strut brace you won’t be lugging a Piano.

I’m always in awe of this Skyline i’ve featured it previously, it still stops me dead. Pretty much Top Secret everything, coupled with midnight purple.

I’ve never liked the R34 in Bayside, but this looked pretty good.

Its rare to see a clean Evo these days, but the 6 still holds it down.

I’m still undecided on the Euro spec Civic Type R, but with a Mugen derivative set to hit the shores and a new base for the company in the UK. We could see some builds coming through, so for now you’ll have to settle for this example on special edition Buddy Club P1 racing wheels.

Show’s have been pretty disappointing lately, but I spied this. Is that a Piazza in the back? not sure…
